State Street PM Heads To PPM America

Scott Richards, formerly a high yield portfolio manager at Boston’s State Street Global Advisors, has joined PPM America in Chicago.
Richards left State Street in June, according to a source at the firm. A spokeswoman there declined to comment on his departure; she said the firm uses a team approach and has a strong group of portfolio managers, analysts and traders in place. William Cunningham, head of global credit strategies and fixed income research, oversees the team.
Richards’ role at PPM America could not be determined by press time. He did not immediately return a call seeking comment.
